Kelly Marzouka-Fernandez nació en Miami, Florida y se crió en Port-au-Prince, Haití y es de ascendencia haitiano-libanesa. Habla con fluidez inglés, español, francés y criollo. Se graduó Magna Cum Laude del programa de Bachillerato Internacional en Coral Reef Senior High School en 2007 y recibió una beca completa en la Universidad Internacional de Florida, donde completó sus estudios universitarios en Administración de Empresas con especialización en Finanzas en 2011. Regresó a la escuela para seguir la carrera de sus sueños en Medicina y se graduó con una Maestría en Estudios de Asistente Médico de la Facultad de Medicina Herbert Wertheim de la Universidad Internacional de Florida en diciembre de 2021. Formó parte del comité de liderazgo de su clase y se desempeñó como Diversity silla Está certificada por la Comisión Nacional de Certificación de Asistentes Médicos. <p align="justify">Venus es la Gerente de Oficina de Martin Medical Center. Nació en La Habana, Cuba. Completó su licenciatura en Contabilidad y Finanzas en la Universidad de La Habana en 2007. Al finalizar sus estudios, se mudó a Palma de Mallorca, España, donde vivió y adquirió más de 10 años de experiencia administrativa. Venus es una profesional compasiva, dinámica y orientada a los resultados que supervisa y administra las operaciones diarias de la oficina para garantizar la calidad de la atención al paciente y el cumplimiento médico. Tiene experiencia en el uso de sistemas de registros médicos electrónicos. Venus también administra la programación, el reclutamiento, la capacitación, la nómina, la facturación y los presupuestos de la oficina. Ella está comprometida a brindar servicios excepcionales a nuestros pacientes y habla inglés y español con fluidez.</p>
Victoria Murias, PA-C es una Médica Asociada certificada (PA) que ha sido miembro del equipo de Martin Medical Center durante más de 4 años. Se graduó con una Maestría en Estudios Médicos Asociados de la Facultad de Medicina Herbert Wertheim de la Universidad Internacional de Florida en 2018 y se capacitó minuciosamente con la Dra. Yanelis Martin, MD, su mentora en Endocrinología, Diabetes y Metabolismo. Es autora de la tesis de la escuela de posgrado titulada "Factores que afectan la fertilidad en hombres con diabetes tipo II". Victoria también ha sido mentora y precepto de muchos estudiantes de Médico Asociado interesados en Endocrinología, que ya han completado su plan de estudios para Médico Asociado. Tiene una gran pasión por ayudar a sus pacientes y le encanta la interacción cara a cara que permite el campo de la endocrinología. La Sra. Murias también tiene más de un año de experiencia brindando atención al paciente a través de Telemedicina. Kayla was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. She
received her Bachelor’s Degree at Barry University and later continued her education pursuing her
Masters degree in “Physician Associate Studies” at the Florida International University. Kayla Gonzalez is
certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associate. During the course of her
studies, Kayla was able to build firsthand Endocrinology experience while finishing her clinical rotations
at the North Miami Beach Community Health Center. Martin Medical Center welcomed Kayla Gonzalez as a
Physician Associate early in the year 2021. Kayla received intensive one on one training by Dr. Yanelis
Martin as soon as she came aboard the Martin Medical Center Team. After such aggressive training,
Kayla specializes in treating patients with both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Thyroid disorders, Pituitary,
Adrenal, bone loss, and other endocrine disorders. She is passionate about developing individualized
treatment plans with Dr. Martin, to help provide the best quality care to her patients.
Martin Medical Center is happy to have welcomed Natalie Sanchez, PA-C, as a member of the medical
team at Martin Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from
Florida International University in 2016 and graduated with a Masters degree inPhysician Associate
Studies from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in 2020.
During her Physician Associate studies at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, Mrs. Sanchez
received clinical training in Endocrinology at the North Miami Beach Community Health Center and
continued her intensive training in Endocrinology under Dr. Yanelis Martin, MD, after graduating with
her Master's degree. Mrs. Sanchez looks forward to building strong relationships with her patients and
their families while also providing the highest level of care with compassion and dedication. Mrs. Sanchez is
also fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Yanelis Martin was born and raised in Cuba and arrived to the United States in 1994. After graduating with Honors and as the Best ESOL student at Coral Park Senior High School, she received full scholarship at Florida International University. At FIU, she graduated with Honors in Biology and Chemistry. In 2004, Dr. Martin obtained her Doctorate’s degree in Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine in PA. She then pursued her dream of completing an Internship, Residency, and Fellowship in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Endocrinology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami Veteran Hospital, and the Miller School of Medicine. During her last year of training, she served as the Chief Resident for her program and was honored by the Dr. Charles H. Peglow Award.
In 2011, Dr. Martin became the Endocrinologist of Florida Pritikin Longevity Center in Doral, FL. where she educated patients from all over the world about Endocrine, Diabetes and Metabolism and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. In 2015, Dr. Martin and her younger sister Ms. Yipsi Martin, B.A, opened the doors of Martin Medical Center, Inc. Dr. Martin has received multiple Top Doctor awards, recognizing, and commemorating the achievements of today's most influential and respected doctors in medicine. Dr. Martin’s passion for teaching is highly recognized. She is a Volunteer Professor at the Florida International University Physician Associate Program.
Dr. Martin's love for her profession is admirable and worth emulating. Her office is staffed by highly recognized ancillary professionals and a group of Physician Associates she educated in the field of Endocrinology and Diabetes.
