Yanelis Martin, M.D.
Dr. Yanelis Martin was born and raised in Cuba and arrived to the United States in 1994. After graduating with Honors and as the Best ESOL student at Coral Park Senior High School, she received full scholarship at Florida International University. At FIU, she graduated with Honors in Biology and Chemistry. In 2004, Dr. Martin obtained her Doctorate’s degree in Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine in PA. She then pursued her dream of completing an Internship, Residency, and Fellowship in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Endocrinology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami Veteran Hospital, and the Miller School of Medicine. During her last year of training, she served as the Chief Resident for her program and was honored by the Dr. Charles H. Peglow Award. In 2011, Dr. Martin became the Endocrinologist of Florida Pritikin Longevity Center in Doral, FL. where she educated patients from all over the world about Endocrine, Diabetes and Metabolism and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. In 2015, Dr. Martin and her younger sister Ms. Yipsi Martin, B.A, opened the doors of Martin Medical Center, Inc. Dr. Martin has received multiple Top Doctor awards, recognizing, and commemorating the achievements of today's most influential and respected doctors in medicine. Dr. Martin’s passion for teaching is highly recognized. She is a Volunteer Professor at the Florida International University Physician Associate Program. Dr. Martin's love for her profession is admirable and worth emulating. Her office is staffed by highly recognized ancillary professionals and a group of Physician Associates she educated in the field of Endocrinology and Diabetes. Victoria Murias, PA-C
Victoria Murias, PA-C is a Certified Physician Associate (PA) who has been a member of the Martin Medical Center team for over 4 years. She graduated with a Masters in Physician Associate Studies from Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in 2018 and thoroughly trained under Dr. Yanelis Martin, MD, her mentor in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She authored the graduate school thesis titled, “Factors Affecting Fertility in Men with Type II Diabetes.” Victoria has also mentored and precepted many PA students interested in Endocrinology as they have completed their PA school curriculum. She has a huge passion for helping her patients and loves the face-to-face interaction the field of endocrinology allows. Mrs. Murias also has over a year of experience providing patient care via Telemedicine. Working alongside Dr. Martin, Victoria hopes to provide you, our patients, the highest level of attention and care possible. Also, Victoria Murias, PA-C is fluent in both English and Spanish. Natalie C. Sanchez, PA-C
Martin Medical Center is happy to have welcomed Natalie Sanchez, PA-C, as a member of the medical team at Martin Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Florida International University in 2016 and graduated with a Masters degree inPhysician Associate Studies from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in 2020. During her Physician Associate studies at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, Mrs. Sanchez received clinical training in Endocrinology at the North Miami Beach Community Health Center and continued her intensive training in Endocrinology under Dr. Yanelis Martin, MD, after graduating with her Master's degree. Mrs. Sanchez looks forward to building strong relationships with her patients and their families while also providing the highest level of care with compassion and dedication. Mrs. Sanchez is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
Kelly Marzouka-Fernandez, PA-C
Kelly Marzouka-Fernandez was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and is of Haitian-Lebanese descent. She is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Creole. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the International Baccalaureate program at Coral Reef Senior High school in 2007 and received a full scholarship at Florida International University where she completed her undergraduate studies in Business Management specializing in Finance in 2011. She returned back to school to pursue her dream career in Medicine and graduated with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in December 2021. She was part of the leadership committee for her class and served as the Diversity chair. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is committed to patient care and her clinical interest includes patient education, health and lifestyle promotion and disease prevention and management.
Kayla Gonzalez , PA-C
Kayla was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. She received her Bachelor’s Degree at Barry University and later continued her education pursuing her Masters degree in “Physician Associate Studies” at the Florida International University. Kayla Gonzalez is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associate. During the course of her studies, Kayla was able to build firsthand Endocrinology experience while finishing her clinical rotations at the North Miami Beach Community Health Center. Martin Medical Center welcomed Kayla Gonzalez as a Physician Associate early in the year 2021. Kayla received intensive one on one training by Dr. Yanelis Martin as soon as she came aboard the Martin Medical Center Team. After such aggressive training, Kayla specializes in treating patients with both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Thyroid disorders, Pituitary, Adrenal, bone loss, and other endocrine disorders. She is passionate about developing individualized treatment plans with Dr. Martin, to help provide the best quality care to her patients.

Venus Alfonso
Venus is the Office Manager for Martin Medical Center. She was born in Havana, Cuba. She completed her Accounting and Finance degree in Havana University in 2007. Upon completion of her studies, she relocated to Palma de Mallorca, Spain where she lived and gained over 10 years of administrative experience. Venus is a compassionate, dynamic and a result-driven professional who oversees and manages day to day office operations to ensure quality patient care and medical compliance. She is experienced in the use of electronic medical records systems. Venus also manages scheduling, recruitment, training, payroll, billing, and office budgets. She is committed to provide exceptional services to our patients and speaks English and Spanish fluently.
